EXTENSION TO AN EXISTING HOUSE

The client approached for just a hand sketch of a plan and design guidance for an addition to an existing house, to fit main bedroom & ensuite, and a spacious open plan living area towards the backyard. In addition to reworking the front house to fit a main bedroom & ensuite, the design transits a few steps down the hallway for a study nook and opens up towards eastern living area with a veranda towards north and backyard, filled with light. Continuing the grid of the existing house, the new addition whilst reorientated, forms a complete whole with the old house.
